Junior Dusters

7U-8U

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

The Junior Dusters offers introductory comprehensive baseball training for players aged 7U and 8U*, providing a first experience in the competitive baseball world. Our Junior Dusters program is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game, while providing a competitive setting to promote growth and development. The Dusters are proud to have new state of the art indoor and outdoor facilities for our players. The teams will practice inside at Sportsplex Norwalk and outside at Fareway Fields.

*Athletes age on April 30 of the baseball season determines age group.

League Play:

  • All players participate in league baseball games as part of the CBL of Iowa (Competitive Baseball League) and/or OBL (Open Baseball League).

  • Volunteer parents coach league games

  • 7U - coach pitch

  • 8U - kid pitch

Additional Information:

  • Early January to mid-February - developmental training (2 nights per week, no activities over holiday breaks).

  • First week of April one indoor practice and one outdoor practice, as weather permits.

  • The program includes approximately 40+ training sessions during the course of the season.
